Unauthorized Activity Report

The watchTowr Platform is a cloud-based Attack Surface Management solution, that performs automated security testing on behalf of customers. watchTowr customers engage the watchTowr Platform on a continuous basis to discover and monitor the security posture of their external attack surface (assets exposed to the Internet).

Unexpected or unauthorized testing typically occurs for two reasons:

  • A watchTowr customer may have initiated activities with the understanding that they held authorization from yourself, or someone in your organization. This is most common, and so we encourage you to check with the system managers to determine whether this activity is authorized.
  • A watchTowr customer may have mistakenly included your network within the scope of our Attack Surface Management technology.

If the activity in question comes from a system outside of the ranges and hosts specified within this knowledgebase entry, we encourage you to contact the owner of those systems and request that they stop.

If after following the above you believe you still continue to receive unauthorized scans, please fill out form.
